Presented in the paper are the results of the investigations of the ground surface roughness upon the conditions under which the cutting surface of grinding wheel that has been dressed with single-point diamond. The ground surface roughness depend, among other factors, upon the number of cutting edges on the grinding wheel cutting surface. This article represents a mathematics model with influencing factors of dressing the grinding wheel cutting surface, with single-point diamond, at straight peripheral creep feed grinding of a Nickel-based alloy NIMONIC 80A.
