Technological Transfer in Japanese Management Techniques

摘要

This paper deals with the problems involved in the application of traditional Japanese Management Techniques to Japanese-affiliated enterprises outside of Japan. We assume that Japanese Management Techniques will be affected by management culture factors formed from management environment, and propose the idea of three types of technological transfer; application type, adaptation type, compound type. The possibility of technological transfer is verified by our proposal and investigation. Finally, the main factors encouraging Japanese Management Techniques are proposed and future topics for a new management approach are presented.
