There are given the results of experimental designing the heat-exchange equipment to be used for steam conversion of natural gas where high potential heat of gas-cooled nuclear reactors is utilized. It is given a comparative aanlysis of optional convertors for hydrocarbon conversion with helium to e used as a heat carrier; and reviewed are the main specific constructive features of two convertor types with catalyst in tube and shell sides. Some technical solutions are proposed as to the equipment layout of an interstaged helium loop and as to the equipment layout of an interstaged helium loop and recovery of medium potential heat of a heat carrier downstream the convertor.
