SYNTHESIS AND ACTIVITY OF PHEROMONE ANALOGUES OF DRUGSTORE BEETLES, THEIR APPLICATION TO A PHEROMONE TRAP

摘要

Stegobiol (1) and stegobinone (2) are sex attractants of drugstore beetle, which elicit the pheromonal response from the male adults. For the purpose of applying to a pheromone trap, their analogues were synthesized by the following scheme. All the analogues consisted of respective diastereomeric mixtures, have trimethyl dihydro-7- pyrone skelton with different length and/or substituents of the side chain.
