摘要

Epoxides are important intermediates in the metabolic conversion of olefinic and aromatic xenobiotics to the excretable products. They appear to be metabolized by epoxide hydrolases(EC 3.3.2.3) and glutathione S-transferase (EC 2.5.1.18). Potent inhibitors will assist the understanding of the role of the epoxide metabolism in vivo and in vitro, and may be of therapeutic or agricultural significance.
