JUMPING PHENOMENA OF TRACTORS

摘要

Under certain conditions a tractor will begin to "jump", "hop", or "pitch". A scaled model was used to study this phenomenon and parameters that influence it. A computer program, mathematically discribing the jumping was developed. Self-excited oscillations v.ere examined on both the physical and the computer model. Effects of the parameters of the system were determined.
