SOIL-DEMINING SYSTEM INTERACTION PERFORMANCES EVALUATION TOOL

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to present a computational tool which has been developed in order to rapidly estimate demining systems performances used in military demining operations. The assessment of mechanical demining systems performances is important to predict the ability of a defined system: - to meet technical requirements; - to identify technical performances in different types of soils; - to compare different system configurations. In the frame of a French Research Project: works and tests has been carried out under the direction of DGA. From laboratory tests to field tests with the real instrumented system, physical interaction process has been measured in order to calibrate models based on experimental data, available for main kinds of soils encountered in operating conditions.
