Flow past a vibrating circular cylinder is numerically simulated by solving time dependent Navier-Stokes and continuity equations. A modified velocity correction method is implemented along with a Ruge-Kutta time integration scheme and a Galerkin weighed residual formulation. Numerical Particle Releases (NPR) are incorporated to study the wake patterns. Phase plane plots, FFT's, temporal lift and drag coefficients are obtained.
