摘要

This paper discusses PDF and stochastic modelling of two-phase flows. The issue is addressed from the point of view of consistency. The Kinetic Equation and Langevin Equation models are discussed. It is shown that the Kinetic model is retrieved by integration over the extra variable that appears in the Langevin model. A proposal is made to extend PDF modelling to the two phases (fluid and solid) at the same time and a particular form is developed.
