摘要

In this study, a numerical experimentation by a hydrocode is proposed in order to investigate the material behavior subjected to ultra-high velocity (20-70 km/s) impacts by projectiles of condensed matters, simulating the impact and perforation incidents of structural components of spacecrafts or space station in the outer space of the earth by the micrometeoroids ejected from comets or asteroids. The material behavior of a ductile material, as if it were a brittle material, is demonstrated and confirmed by using present numerical approach. Also the complicated mechanism accompanied by the shock-induced vaporization phenomena is examined and explained visually.
