In order to study the subgrade structure situation of existing asphalt pavement, unconfined compressive strength, and the resilience modulus with single axis compression were adopted to evaluate semi-rigid asphalt base in service. The mechanical parameters could be used to analysis the mechanism of transverse cracks, which would provide necessary technical support for maintenance.
