For the applications of telecommunications and radar, high power miniaturized terahertz traveling wave tubes are required. In this paper, we propose a device based on a folded double ridge groove waveguide and sheet electron beam. A three port power combiner is appropriate as input and output power couplers in this novel device. It can be shown from the simulation results that the three port power combiner has a reflection coefficient, S11, of less than −17dB and a transmission, S21 and S31 of approximately −3dB in the frequency range of 330-350 GHz. In addition, a PIC simulation of the beam-wave interaction predicts an output power of 160 W at 340 GHz when a beam of voltage 27.4 kV and current 0.25 A is used.
