Due to their advanced properties and high specific surface area, TiO2 nanotubes (TiO2 NTs) are used in various fields, such as dye sensitized solar cells, photocatalysis, biomedical applications and energy storage. In this work, TiO2 NTs were synthesized by anodization of titanium (Ti) foil and Ti-6A1-4V (TA6V) alloy at 60 V for 3 h in fluoride organic electrolyte for a use as a negative electrode in lithium ion micro-batteries in aim to improve their energy storage. The morphological, structural and electrochemical performances of TiO2 NTs were investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical characterization techniques.
