Discussion on Improving Safety in Elevator Management

With the rapid development of urban construction and the steadily increasing of population, there are more and more high-rise buildings built. As a kind of vertical transportation device, the elevator is widely used in production field and people’s daily lives. At present, China's elevator industry develops rapidly, but elevator accidents often occur. This paper analyzes four aspects that need to be strengthened in the current elevator safety management: implement the safety management responsibility of the user, improve the system construction of elevator funds, strengthen the management of elevator maintenance work, and paying attention to the safety management of escalators. In view of these four problems, this paper provides some suggestions to improve the level of elevator safety management.
