Developing real-time mtorola's DSP5636x audio systems using the PC parallel port interface

摘要

This paper presents a PC parallel-port hardware and software interface for the DSP5636x audio decoders. The hardware interface provides a cost-effective solution for digital audio development and reference system designs. The s oftware interface provides testing for post-decoder processing phases (PPPs), as well as general-purpose drivers to create the DSP5636x's audio control applications in a real-time environment.
