The module has a series of conversion control chips (31, 41) that are respectively mounted on a desktop monitor (3) and a portable computer (4). A transmission interface is connected to each of the chips for transmitting signals on transmission chips. Audio output ports (43), audio input port (44), microphone port (45), a set of universal serial busports (46), series of parallel/series ports (47), monitor connection port (48), serial port (49), parallel port (50) and 1394 port (51) are provided on the monitor at preset locations and are electrically connected to the chip (31).
