摘要

A platinum electrode modified with a conducting polymer bilayer was utilized as an anchor for a DNA probe for subsequent electrochemical detection of oligonucleotide hybridization. The label-free DNA detector was used for the voltammetric detection of Hepatits C and epigenetic DNA marker. This assembly of this detector was also extended to a multiplexing format in a dip-stick configuration for the recognition of microbial oligonucleotide targets in 0.5ml solution. The dip-stick detector consisted of an array of 16 individually addressable platinum microelectrodes. This method demonstrates a powerful approach for fast, qualitative and simple screening of DNA/RNA targets.
