Digital dynamics contorl can generate aliasing distortion within an audio processor,With DSP,these issues cna create added audible distortion,porpagation delay,and/or overshoots.Why has it been so difficult to create to create sucessful sounding digital signal processors for broadcast ? This pape roffers informaitn aobut the cause and effect of aliasing distortion generated in comporessros,limiters and clippers.COnsideration must be given to samplign rate,algorithm design,time delay,and DSP architecture or sonic performance degrades.The presenation will cover some design criteria that will aid in eliminating this problem.
