The analytical structure of a two-input two-output fuzzycontroller is proved to be the sum of two nonlinearproportional-integral (PI) controllers with gains continuously varyingwith process outputs. The fuzzy controller consists of the followingcomponents: (1) two-member input fuzzy sets with linear membershipfunctions; (2) five-member output fuzzy sets with singleton membershipfunctions; (3) 16 fuzzy control rules; (4) probabilistic AND fuzzylogic; and (5) the center-of-gravity defuzzification algorithm
