Technological advancements has always bestowed a nation with great innovations and solutions to the unnoticed issues. A country is always known for its rich art, culture, heritage and monuments, but as the world progresses to a new era of technology, these monuments are constantly turned a blind eye upon. As the concept of Smart cities have began to be implemented, the ancient monuments needs to be preserved. This paper deals with remotely monitoring these monuments as a part of daily checking and supervision with adequate measures to clean and preserve it. This is possible with the help of Wireless Underground Sensor Networks (WUSNs) which mainly focuses on the transmission of data using sensor node at the subsurface region of the soil without having the capability to perform wireless communication. Since these monuments and structures are very ancient so to preserve them, the sensors are buried underground or placed at underground levels like Tunnels, Chambers or Earth Air Tunnels that helps us to monitor the cracks, holes and the health of these structures. The technology that we have used in this paper uses an energy efficient way to provide robust infrastructure for realistic application and to monitor them. In this paper, we have created a test bed scenario at Neemrana (Rajasthan, India) which had an Earth Air Tunnel i.e. EAT whose health monitoring has been checked. A structurally simulated result has been shown in the given domain.
