Through history, we learned that economical compensationfor the use and exploitation of resources is not enough toachieve sustainable development of the mining industry inBolivia. To grant compensation for the use of resources to thecommunities in terms of development instead of money cansurely make a difference and it can even give the miningoperator an opportunity to contribute to the overall progresswhile overcoming the difficulties of eventual confrontationsthat threaten the regular performance of its activities.
