Inspired by the thought of TOPSIS, a new multi-attribute decision making (MADM) method is proposed under the interval normal type-2 fuzzy set (INT2FS) environment. Firstly, the Expected value of INT2FS is defined to obtain the ideal solutions. Secondly, the Euclidean distance of INT2FS is given to depict the similarity between each alternative and ideal solutions. Finally, a supplier selection problem is used to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the the proposed approach.
