We propose an algorithm for linear feedback shift-register (LFSR)synthesis in the case of multiple sequences belonging to a commutativering with identity. It is also shown how this algorithm can be appliedto the decoding of cyclic codes defined over an integer residue ringζ_q where q is a power of a prime
