Application of practical fuzzy-PID hybrid control system topetrochemical plant

Presents a practical method of control using conventional PID andfuzzy control, where the output of fuzzy reasoning compensates for theoutput of PID control directly. This method of control applies tocontrol of the top temperature (temperature of the stripper top) of apetrochemical plant. It is shown that the proposed system can controlthe top temperature effectively in both steady state and in transientstate, such as in feed oil switching
