Electromagnetic interference on a transponder due to UHF setonboard a helicopter-a case study

摘要

A transponder was tested for its performance with itsinterrogator. The transponder and the monitoring equipment were mountedin a helicopter. The radio transmission (RT) set of the helicopterinterfered with the performance of the monitoring equipment. This paperis a case study in identifying the problem and solving it. Alsoguidelines are suggested which if adopted would minimise theinterference effect in such applications
