Benchmarking of technological innovation practices in Chineseenterprises

摘要

This paper developed a new checklist for fully auditing andbenchmarking technological innovation. With such a managerial tool, 24Chinese firms were investigated, among them are some best innovationfirms in China. The state of the art of innovation practices, includingsources of innovation, means of technology acquisition, resourceallocation, core competence building, interface management, humanresource management et al., is discussed. The authors believe thesekinds of research have a demo effect for ordinary Chinese firms whichare ready to innovate
