USES OF AMATEUR SATELLITES IN ENGINEERING COURSES

Amateur satellites provide an opportunity for engineering students to gain real-worldexperience with actual spacecraft. The AMSAT satellites are being used in several courses.In addition to the purely educational purposes, the satellites stimulate interest in both thespace program and amateur radio.
