For understanding of long-term degradationbehavior of corrupted and/or molten fuels in some offnormalsolutions such as sea water, that was injectedurgently for cooling of reactor core of Fukushima DaiichiNuclear Power Plants (NPPs), the leaching behavior ofactinides and fission products (FPs) should be clarified.In this paper, the results of leaching behavior of actinidesand FPs from boiling water reactor (BWR) spent nuclearfuel samples and Three Mile Island -2 (TMI-2) debrissamples are indicated. Additionally, in order to clarify theformation of secondary phase precipitates on thespecimen surfaces, microstructure observations andelemental analysis by means of secondary electronmicroscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-rayspectrometry (EDX) are treated.
