Development of High Waste Loading Glasses

摘要

JNFL has been developing the advancedvitrification technology of high level liquid wastes(HLLW) from 2014. In this work, we are primarilyconcerned with the high waste loading glass focusedon solubility increase of molybdenum which maycause the formation of undesirable secondary phase(yellow phase) in the case of HLLW vitrification. Wehave collaborated with various universities andinstitutes to study the above programs. Finally, wehave successfully obtained the candidate glasscomposition having good chemical durability andyellow phase suppression capability. This paperreports the results of the development.
