A Study of Recognizing Flake Surfaces Based on Feature Lines of Stone Tool

In recent years, three-dimensional technology is capable to simplify the reassembly process of the fracturedobjects. The reassembly process of stone tools can be easily done by the refitted ake matching process. Theretted ake matching process is required for highly accurate segmented akes. This work aims to extract highlyaccurate ake surfaces and to match the extracted ake surfaces. In addition, this paper studies the evaluationof the matching accuracy of the extracted akes and comparison to other methods. This paper also presents analgorithm of ake surface recognition based on feature lines of stone tools. The implementation of this work canrecognize ake surfaces according to the scale drawing of the stone tool with high accuracy.
