The results of research obtained in the work allow us to draw the following conclusions. Samples oforthopaedic implants obtained by pressing (including cold isostatic) sponge titanium powder have theporosity in the range of 34-38% and a compressive strength of 85-100 MPa. When using postcompactingby the HIP method, the porosity of the samples is decreased to 32-34%, and the strengthis increased to 100-120 MPa. In addition, the HIP leads to a refinement of the microstructure grains andthe appearance of amorphous-like phases in it.
