Real time simulation of a synchronous machine in a programmablehigh speed controller

摘要

The real-time simulation of a synchronous machine in amicroprocessor based programmable high-speed controller (PHSC) ispresented. The simulation is based on the normalized equations of themachine in the d-q reference frame. The systempresented can be used as a generator in HVDC simulation as well as tostudy the effects of various excitation control techniques. It can alsobe used as a motor simulator to study the various closed-loop controlstrategies in variable-speed drive applications. The dynamic behavior ofthe simulator is illustrated by results of open- and short-circuittests, by network synchronization, and by response of excitation control
