Periodic CCL occurrence frequencies of spreading codes and theirinfluence on slotted CDMA systems

The OF (occurrence frequency) of CCLs (cross-correlation levels)is introduced to objectively judge CDMA (code division multiple access)code sets. 4-CCL and 5-CCL codes possessing more ideal OFs of CCLs thanthe Gold code are presented. A new technique utilizing a multivariableBernoulli process to model the outputs of a CDMA receiver in a slottedsystem is developed to evaluate BER. It shows the superiority of 4-CCLand 5-CCL codes over the Gold code
