Logic simulation in an introductory course

Summary form only given. A commercial digital logic simulationprogram was used to demonstrate the functional and time behavior ofdigital logic circuits. Students used the same program in the laboratoryto verify designs prior to constructing their hardware. Cut and pasteoperations are used to transfer circuit and timing diagrams generated bythe simulator to student laboratory reports
