Review of established procedures of IEC 481 for intermodulationtest

A study of the measurement problems associated withintermodulation test for broadband high-power networks is presented withspecific reference to coupling devices for power line carrier (PLC)systems laid down in IEC 481. Schemes to overcome the associatedproblems in carrying out the test are suggested. Particular attention isgiven to the band reject filter scheme and the bandpass filter scheme
