PERCEPTIONS OF THE WEST AND THE EAST AND NATIONAL CULTURE ON THE HUMAN FACTORS

摘要

Researches and discussions on the human factors are worth for better safely of, in particular, transportation industries. In fact, it may deserve more attention as the modern industries look for AI or autonomous operation in the near future. Meanwhile, it has also been anticipated that such researches and discussions are rather one way along the technical and engineering approaches. Safety, being also an issue of cultural scrutiny, this paper tries to show the importance of perception of the thoughts between the east and the west, then the role of national culture referring relevant researches appeared recently.
