Rakshak – An IoT based application to address safety concerns of an Individual, Group and an Entity

摘要

The aim of this paper is to design an Internet of Things (IoT) based security and alert system named "Rakshak" which will serve as an easy and quick reporting application or a system for any emergency like medical, fire and police, Rakshak’s main goal is to ensure enhanced safety and security of every individual and has the potential to control and lower the crime rate and the loss during emergencies. This paper describes System block diagram, Functional diagram, Flowcharts of Requestor – Mobile Application, Smart Tag, Controller, receiver – Mobile Application, Alert Station and functioning of each one in detail. This paper also includes design architecture, implementation details, advantages, Misuse Control and Future Enhancements.
