A Novel Tunable Predistortion Circuit

In this paper, a hybrid linearizer is designed for SSPA. By adjusting the bias voltage, different degrees of amplitude expansion and phase compression characteristics can be obtained. Compared with the traditional reflective analog predistortion circuit, this circuit can obtain better nonlinear characteristics. The simulation results show that the new circuit improves the amplitude expansion from 10dB to 13dB in 27GHz, and the phase compression is improved from 40° to 60°.
