摘要

This paper presents the design of reduced-order nonlinear controller to control the speed of electro-mechanical system. The design of proposed controller is done by reducing the order of the system using the partial feedback linearization approach. The effectiveness of proposed controller is investigated by nonlinear modelling of electro-mechanical systems namely series and stepper motor. The model of electro-mechanical systems are obtained from differential dynamic equations. A stability analysis is also done to prove the stability of proposed design. The performance of proposed controller is obtained by MATLAB environment that ensures the high performance of controller for speed of electro-mechanical systems.
