The main tasks are discussed in this paper such as in the construction of transmitters of digital television broadcasting, in particular the task of constructing a universal preamplifier, which can be used regardless of any particular channel. Distributed amplifiers permit to build wide-range power amplifiers with constant gain in the preset frequency range. The main feature of the construction of distributed amplifiers is using input and output capacitances of amplifying device in the artificial transmission lines. The main advantages and disadvantages of this type of amplifiers are presented in the paper. The method of calculation of distributed amplifier for UHF and the research its energetic characteristics are discussed in the paper. The further research tasks for this type of amplifier are given.
