Aiming at the problem of heavy structure and unsatisfactory stability of traditional UAV-optoelectronic platform, a small two-axis optoelectronic platform was designed. The modal characteristics of the main frame structure were analyzed. And the weak links of the platform where were easy to resonance were found out. Then, the optimal design of damping function for the platform is carried out by adding the designed multi-specification damping material. And the stability performance of the platform was improved effectively. The ideal stabilization effect was well realized. Therefore, it could provide a theoretical basis for platform design.
