摘要

An improved Direct Torque Control based on the sine pulse is studied in this work. The chosen technique proves its effectiveness by decreasing torque/flux ripples and fixing the switching frequency. In the other hand, the use of an NPC three level inverter to feed the asynchronous motor will improve the quality of signals and minimize the harmonics. Moreover, eliminating mechanical speed sensor and adopting software estimators will more improve the system reliability. The control strategy uses two types of estimators; The Direct Calculation Method and the observer based on Sliding Mode. In order to evaluate the suggested systems performance, four comparisons with MATLAB/SIMULINK platform will be done.
