Ways to reduce the negative impact of AC failure on consumers

Ensuring the quality of electricity in general-purpose networks is an important electrical power supply problem. One of the indicators of power quality is the depth and duration of the AC failure. These days, great attention is paid to the issue of protecting equipment from the effects of AC failures, but the problem of minimizing the failures themselves at the level of their causes has been studied only in terms of decreasing the probability of short circuits in electrical networks. Hence, it seems relevant to study the factors affecting the nature of AC failures, which would reduce the damage from failures and improve the quality of electrical energy, at the levels of both distribution networks and power supply systems of individual industrial enterprises.
