ANALYSIS OF RESIDENTIAL INFILL SYSTEM IN INDUSTRIALIZED BUILDING SYSTEM: TAKING CHINA AND JAPAN AS EXAMPLES

摘要

This report uses China and Japan as examples to analyze how the residential infill system responds to the basic conditions in the context of different levels of housing industrialization. The paper contrasts three major parts. The first part is about the residential pattern which provides high-level and low-level infill systems. The second part is the history of development. Unlike Japan, the refill industry in China has been separated from the formal industry channels. The third part is the analysis of the project organizational model and characteristics of these models in the two countries.
