A novel imaging technique, Multiplexed Structured Image Capture (MUSIC), is demonstrated herein as a means to extend the field of view in a single exposure. Unique spatial modulation patterns are applied to the light collected from two different areas of the target scenes and overlaid at the detector in a single captured image. Post-processing of the captured image allows for the two sub-images to be directly separated using spatial Fourier analysis. This work demonstrates MUSIC field of view extension for imaging of an Air Force resolution target and flame chemiluminescence. Though only two-scene imaging is shown in this work, more scenes can be added by using additional patterns and optics.
