This paper presents the design of a closed-loop algorithm using Digital Signal Processor (DSP) TMS320F28335 processors evaluation board to provide a variation of duty cycle and to control the voltage and current loop of the single-phase single-stage grid inverter. Analog to Digital (ADC) is used for the control loop for Vpv, Ipv, and Vgrid. The variation of the duty cycle is from 0 to 1 (0% to 100%) with minimal overheads. The Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) module for the DSP board in Matlab called ePWM is used as SPWM generator. The ePWM signal used in the design is up-down count mode configured in Matlab/Simulink to drive the gate driver of Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT). Code Composer Studio (CSS) is used to transform and compile the simulation model in Matlab/Simulink into C programming language. The built-in fuzzy logic controller in Matlab/Simulink tools is reconstructed based on the mathematical model suitable for DSP. The proposed algorithm is modeled and executed in DSP. The simulation and experimental results are presented.
