摘要

The proposed paper presents a new optimization technique for LFC in a 4-Area interconnected system when compared to conventional method of optimization technique. The advantage of proposed controlling technique is that it is quicker than the regular conventional control technique and can monitor the nonlinearities simultaneously. It is proved that the response of GWO (Grey Wolf Optimization) based controller is quicker than the conventional controllers, thereby reducing the oscillations. The resultant optimized method improves the dynamic response of a four area inter-connected hybrid system. The entire approach of comparing GWO and the conventional based controller was carried through MATLAB/SIMULINK software. This proposed controller gives better results and even faster than the conventional controller.
