The Interface Development of Hospital Information System Management Using Goal-Directed Design Method

Prof. Soeparwi Animal Hospital is one of the animal hospitals located in Yogyakarta. In its current operations, the administrative flow is still running manually using paper records. This study developed the interface of the administration system subsystem of the hospital. The development of this information system interface emphasized the user experience aspect using the goal-directed design method. The evaluation of user satisfaction was done using the questionnaire of user interface satisfaction (QUIS) method and presentation of the final results. This study developed the administration subsystem interface of Prof. Soeparwi Animal Hospital, which could meet user needs, business processes, and integration between the hospital's subsystem. The interface evaluation resulted in a user satisfaction score of 8.1125 from the acceptance level of 5, the more efficient service flow, and it received a positive response for further development from the hospital management. Thus, it can be concluded that the interface succeeded in achieving the design goals through the goal-directed design method.
