摘要

In this paper, we present a level set based active contour approach using an enhanced regional strategy with signed pressure force (SPF) function. The proposed strategy builds up a regional SPF energy term based on globally distributed intensity means. The created system has the ability to segment the intricate areas easily. At last, a Gaussian kernel is adjusted to regularize level set and to escape an expensive reinitialization. Finally, the set of real and synthetic images are used for validation of the proposed method. The Dice index (DSC) and Hausdorff-Distance (HD) metrics are being used for quantitative and qualitative validation of the proposed method. Results will demonstrate the performance of the proposed scheme, where DSC and HD values are compared to previous state-of-art methods.
