摘要

The unified modeling language (UML) developers have defined superclass-subclass without their design process. This paper attempts to develop a novel methodology to design superclass-subclass hierarchy from requirements specification. The logic behind the existence of superclass-subclass hierarchy is based on stratiform changes in the paradigm and their effects. The methodology is developed with sound mathematical rigor and well proven methods for the intermediate results.
